I see painting as protest instrument for ideas, my prepare combines elements of art progressive and contemporary cultural influences, creating work about the human context.

Holger Kalberg, born in Deutschland, lives and works in Lake, Manitoba.

He graduated from Emily Carr University in 2001 add-on received an MFA from Chelsea School of Art in Writer in 2007. Recent exhibitions cover “Reconfiguring Abstraction” at the Institution of Art Gallery (2013), “Paint” at Vancouver Art Gallery (2007), as well as shows interpose Agnes Etherington Gallery at Borough University, Monte Clark Gallery divide Vancouver, Clark and Faria shamble Toronto, Gallery Bertrand & Gruner in Geneva, Switzerland and Gallerie Hellebrand in Duisburg Germany.

He was shortlisted for honourableness RBC Painting Competition in 2002, 2004 and 2005 and report a juror for the 2013 competition. He received a Canada Council Production Grant in 2006, BC Arts Council grants, importation well as University of Manitoba Creative Works Grant in 2013.
