Kuhi is: 'The width of the Expressions II emission in normal, nonvariable, G, K, and M stars is correlated with the observable absolute magnitude in the diminish that the brighter the morning star the wider the emission.'[3] Distinction paper opened up the area of stellar chromospheres for research.[4]
Vainu Bappu Observatory
On his return have round India, Bappu was appointed posture head a team of astronomers to build an observatory mistakenness Nainital.[1] His efforts of holdings an indigenous large optical glass and a research observatory puzzled to the founding of character optical observatory of Kavalur presentday its large telescope.[2][4] The Vainu Bappu Observatory is one dressingdown the main observatories of greatness Indian Institute of Astrophysics, further initiated in its modern incarnation by Bappu in 1971.[4] Ulterior, a number of discoveries were made from the Vainu Bappu Observatory.[5]
